The first table (9-A) deals with “green increased demand” occupations, as classified by the O*NET Resource Center, for the Agriculture and Forestry cluster; the second table (9-B) relates to “green enhanced skills” occupations for the same cluster.

Findings:
- This sector is related to the rise of organic food products and efficient land management, which is why an occupation such as Agricultural and food science technicians would be included.
- As a whole, the wages are quite a bit lower than other so-called green sectors. Farmers and ranchers, for instance, make on average just $7.14 an hour.
- The only occupation in this sector that requires a 4-year degree is Landscape architects, which has seen a loss of jobs from 2007-2009.
