Minneapolis Federal Reserve on EMSI’s Noncovered Jobs Data

Ron Wirtz of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis calls it “a hole in the employment doughnut” — the growing number of noncovered jobs in the US. EMSI tracks data on workers not covered by unemployment insurance, and thus not captured in traditional job statistics.

Product Update: Analyst 3 Beta

Our next A3 beta update will include a new “slide to detail” feature that we are pretty excited about. This functionality allows a user to “slide” the screen from an overview report to a detail view (and back) without leaving the original report. Here’s a quick video on how it works.
