For the fifth straight year, Inc. Magazine has included EMSI on its list of the 5,000 fastest-growing US companies.
EMSI, based in Moscow, Idaho, came in at #3,174 in the nation and #220 among software companies in the just-released Inc. 5000 list. The ranking is based on percentage revenue growth from 2007 from 2010. To be eligible, firms have to be based in the US, privately held, for profit and independent with a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2007 and $2 million in 2010.

EMSI provides comprehensive labor market and economic data through web-based software (Analyst and Career Coach) that help clients better understand regional employment. Analyst, a labor market research tool, is used more than 3,500 professionals in higher education, workforce, economic development, and higher education in the US and UK.
EMSI also conducts economic impact reports that assess the economic contribution of colleges and universities, and custom consulting reports for a wide variety of clients. Since 2000, EMSI has completed more 1,000 economic impact studies for colleges to determine their regional economic contribution.
