Pendleton, SC (10/01/12) — On Monday, administrators of Tri-County Technical College announced that the college is now using EMSI’s Career Coach to help boost students’ success and combat this year’s drop in enrollment. “We are creating opportunities for student success,” said college spokeswoman Rebecca Eidson.
College leaders said that Career Coach is part of their push to secure more of the area’s graduates and connect them with key job-training programs. It’s also designed to help the many students who arrive without a job goal in mind, said career services director Glenn Hellenga.
And Tech isn’t stopping with the college and post-college crowd. Enrollment staff members are also distributing iPads loaded with Career Coach to local high school guidance counselors, acquainting future college students with Tech’s programs.
