On Wednesday, Feb. 13, Annike Crapuchettes and Rob Sentz of EMSI will speak with Ron Painter, President/CEO of the National Association of Workforce Boards, on the NAWB Workforce Central radio program. The topic: how improved cost-benefit models are changing workforce conversations.
EMSI’s WIA Scorecard, unveiled last year, is a unique economic model designed to measure the economic benefits and costs of WIA programs. The Scorecard gives workforce leaders the information they need to cost-effectively measure and communicate the effectiveness of adult, dislocated worker, and youth WIA programs.
Below is a preview of the show from NAWB. The show airs live at this link on Blog Talk Radio at 1 p.m. EST.
Real ROI: How Improved Cost-Benefit Models are Changing Workforce Conversations
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM EST
In 2012, Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc. (EMSI) embarked on a pilot study with seven workforce investment boards (WIBs) to create a WIB scorecard that measured the cost/benefit ratio for WIA programs. The study methodology has now been adopted in three additional statewide programs. Join Ron Painter as he interviews EMSI’s Rob Sentz, Vice President, Marketing, and Annike Crapuchettes, Assistant Vice President, Professional Services, to learn how this pilot project has progressed, as well as how it has illuminated new ways for WIBs to engage with employers, education, and other stakeholders.
