Better than anyone, EMSI users know that being data-informed changes everything. Now we’re working on making it easier for you to show that data to the world by adding social media sharing to Analyst. With one click, you’ll be able to take the essential labor market data you’ve found in Analyst and distribute it to the rest of your network via social media like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Our range of Analyst tools already include a variety of “clippings” options that made it easy to get specific pieces of data in user-friendly formats — Word, Excel, PDF, and more. Soon, though, you’ll also see a share button popping up throughout the tool. We’re putting it in the same place you’ve previously found the clipping and export buttons, on the top right of most data sections in Analyst. To see what we mean, take a look at this occupation report from our brand-new Analyst tool for France:
The share button is the arrow icon, and from now on that same icon will be available throughout Analyst and also on the clippings menu. Any time you see a piece of data you find especially compelling, click on it, and you’ll have the option to send that nugget of information to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. Everyone you share the link with will be able to click through to a special page highlighting the data you’ve chosen to share.
We’re still in the finishing stages of preparing social media sharing for Analyst. If you’re already using Analyst to get the best available information on labor markets and economies, keep an eye on that top right corner, and get ready to share what you know with the world. If you aren’t using Analyst, why not go here to learn more about it? Or, for answers to your questions about sharing, Analyst, and EMSI, contact Rob Sentz.
