We are pleased to announce the first annual EMSI Leadership Summit, taking place October 20-22, 2014, in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The purpose of the Leadership Summit is the same as EMSI’s daily role: to help you improve the economy and workforce of your region. We aren’t here simply to provide good data — we are here to stay alongside your organization and create better results with you. And so we want to share ideas on how EMSI can do this more successfully.
The Summit will kick off on the evening of Monday, October 20, and conclude at noon on Wednesday, October 22. A welcome reception, a special dinner at the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s five-star restaurant, and the opportunity to golf on the Resort’s world-famous golf course (including a floating green!) are just some of the highlights that make the Leadership Summit the perfect opportunity for clients to network, hear from the EMSI team, and enjoy the gorgeous Pacific Northwest.
How Is This Different Than the EMSI User Conference?
In the past, the EMSI User Conference has focused on two main areas: training clients to better use the EMSI tools, and sharing best practices on using EMSI data. Starting this year, we are splitting the conference into two events: the User Conference (slated for spring 2015) that will focus on product training, and the Leadership Summit that will focus on client presentation and discussion.
Who Should Come — and Why
Presidents, chancellors, executive directors — the Leadership Summit is geared especially to you. It will be a great place to learn about EMSI updates, provide feedback on EMSI’s direction, lead the conversation around workforce and economic development, discuss the latest trends in labor market data, and tell us how EMSI can better serve you as you serve your community. And yes, we know that these dates conflict with ACCT, so if you cannot make it yourself, we understand. We would gladly welcome a member of your team on your behalf!
We are capping the conference at 100 attendees, so don’t delay! Register by June 1 for the early-bird discount.
