Brian Kelsey will lead a team of distinguished speakers at the fifth annual National EMSI Conference in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, September 21-23, where presentations and panel discussions will center on Know Your Workforce: Understanding the Intersection of Talent and Careers.
A longtime EMSI friend and partner, Brian is the principal and founder of Civic Analytics and an accomplished speaker, researcher, and economic development consultant. Prior to founding Civic Analytics, Brian was a senior policy advisor at the Economic Development Administration (EDA), where he engineered a $37M grant program in partnership with the Department of Labor, Department of Education, and 13 other federal agencies to drive regional innovation and job growth. On his well-read blog and in other avenues, Brian has emphasized the strong connection between education, workforce development, and economic development.

The conference will kick off on the evening of Monday, September 21, and conclude in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23.
