So many of us rely on Google Maps to help us navigate a new city or get from point A to point B. Now, we’re pleased to announce the familiarity of Google Maps can be found in Emsi’s labor market analytics software.
The update is available for all the countries for which we have data—the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Brazil, and France. And it paves the way for exciting new features that we will be unveiling in coming weeks.
Emsi maps allow you to overlay our fine-grained industry, occupation, educational program, demographic, and job posting data for any standard or custom region (nation, state, MSA, county, or ZIP code).
Some of the benefits of the switch to Google Maps:
- You can zoom into specific regions and sections of cities. For our core industry and occupation data, this includes seeing LMI trends down to the ZIP code level.
- You can export presentation-ready maps that are visually more appealing and detail-rich than before.
- You’ll always see the latest highways, roads, landmarks, and business locators because our maps have the accuracy and recency that come with the Google Maps engine.
- You have three custom map styles to fit the color scheme of your presentation—minimal, standard, and pale—with more to come. The standard map style looks exactly like Google Maps, while the minimal style has fewer roads and landmarks.
