Over the last few weeks, we’ve added some exciting features to Career Coach that add value for users and site administrators alike. Here’s a look at some of the highlights.
With the click of a button, Career Coach users can now save any career or program to their personal profile! When a user logs in, their saved favorites will appear at the bottom of the redesigned profile page so they can easily revisit any career or program of interest.
If users are browsing careers or programs and click “Save” without logging in, they will be prompted to log in or create a profile—driving increased engagement with students, prospective students, and job seekers in your community.
This is also exciting news for site administrators who can view and export this information, providing valuable insight into students’ and job seekers’ interests!
Career Coach now displays more information about entry-level education when users are exploring careers. Instead of showing only the most frequent entry-level education level, Career Coach now displays each relevant education level (along with its frequency) according to national BLS data.
Based on feedback from clients, we also updated Career Coach’s assessment that helps students identify their interests and strengths. Site administrators can now configure whether their users are provided with the 6-question quick-start assessment, the 60-question detailed assessment, or both—whichever they believe will best serve their constituents.
And both versions are now prefaced with additional guidance to help users approach the questions correctly and get the most accurate results.
